We finally made our way over to the Hampton Designer Showhouse on David's Lane in Water Mill on Thursday to see the house and support our friends that participated in the event. We designed a room in the Showhouse last year, but we decided to give ourselves a much needed break this summer...So this year, we enjoyed it from the other side, as a spectator (and a blogger!).
We were out of town last weekend, so we missed the opening gala (which is always great people watching)...But fortunately it was a quiet day on Thursday, so we got to walk around and take in the rooms in relative peace and quiet. We met one of our clients there, so we got to dish about what we liked (and what we didn't)...We'll be posting our Top 5 later in the week, so be sure to check back for that.
We were able to take photos of just about every room in the house, which you will see below. If we missed anything, don't fret: Traditional Home Magazine, the sponsor of the event, will be publishing the showhouse in a future issue.

Great Photos & Resources! I am partial to the master bathroom and terrace ;-) If I had to pick a bedroom, It'd be between Nathan Egan and Kate Singer...I need a pool house!
ReplyDeleteWHAT ABOUT THE GAZEBO SPONSORED BT DUTCH PETALS AND DESIGNED BY MIGUEL ELIAS INTERIOR DESIGN OR THE REC HOUSE DESIGNED BY LILLIAN AUGUST...DID YOU GUYS FORGET THERE WAS A BACKYARD OR ARE JUST CLUELESS!!!
ReplyDeleteWe actually didn't see the gazebo, but we certainly did see the pool house designed by Lillian August (pictured above, second-to-last), as well as the back terrace designed by Just Terraces (pictured above, last), so clearly we did not "forget" that there backyard. We presented what we saw, simple as that. But regardless, is there a need for such a snippy tone? We think not.
ReplyDeletethanks so much for posting. Beautiful job guys!
