Exclusive: We find the Hamptons Showhouse!

After a little sleuthing, we have discovered exactly where the 2013 Hampton Designer Showhouse will be held this summer! While the Hampton Designer Showhouse website only reveals a digital architectural rendering of a gorgeous shingle-style house in Bridgehampton, we were able to uncover the actual address of the house, and we're sharing it here with you exclusively, even before it is officially announced to the public. This year's Hampton Designer Showhouse is at 990 Brick Kiln Road, right on the Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor border.

According to the listing on mega-Hamptons real estate firm Saunders' website, it's an 11,600 square foot post-modern shingle-style house that sits on just over 5 acres, and has 7 bedrooms, 7 1/2 bathrooms, and all of the mega-Hamptons manse must haves: First- and second-floor master bedrooms, a Bakes & Co. custom kitchen and butler's pantry, remote-control air conditioning in every room, a fully-furnished lower level replete with sauna, steam room, media room, wine cellar, solar and geothermal heating, and outdoors, a 50' x 20' gunite pool with a water sunbed and elevated 10-person spa, a two-tier fire pit, and a tennis court. You know, the basics...

The house is built by Frank Bodenchak who is the founder of Edge Capital hedge fund, as well as Bodenchak Design & Build. Bodenchak was also the builder of the 2010 Hampton Designer Showhouse located just up the street on Stony Hill Road on the outskirts of Sag Harbor. In fact, the real estate listing for this year's Showhouse features photos of the 2010 Showhouse as "Proposed Rooms." Although, we like to think that the participating designers (yet to be announced) in this year's Showhouse might have a little something to say about that!

So, what's it going to take to get you into this house? The asking price is a respectable $5,750,000 (or, best offer, of course!). But if that's a little too steep for you, then you'll just have to buy a ticket to the Gala Preview Party. As in previous years, the Hampton Designer Showhouse is a benefit for Southampton Hospital, and is sponsored by Traditional Home Magazine. The opening Preview Gala will take place at the house at 990 Brick Kiln Road on Saturday, July 20th, from 6:00-8:30pm, and tickets are $225 per person. The house will then be open to the public with a $30 donation from Sunday, July 21st through Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day).
